TV Deja Vu...Yet Again

This week on TV...

On the season finale of GREY'S ANATOMY, one of the regualar doctors is shot. On the season finale of ER, one of the regular doctors is shot. (I've lost track of all the doctors and nurses who have become patients in their own hospital over the years on ER, but on GREY'S ANATOMY, I believe there are now only three doctors who haven't become patients...and they are only in their second season)

On LAW AND ORDER, a cop wakes up and discovers a dead body in his apartment...and has no memory of what happened. On CROSSING JORDAN, a coroner wakes up and discovers a dead body in her home...and has no memory of what happened.

It's bad enough that every show on TV these days seems to be called LAW AND ORDER or CSI...but now they all seem to be doing the same stories.  It hasn't been this bad since the season when every show had to do their take on Chandra Levy...

TV Deja Vu...again

Don't the program execs at ABC talk to one another about their shows?

On BOSTON LEGAL, one of the female lawyers is falling in love with a client who is dying.  At the same time, over on GREY'S ANATOMY, one of the female doctors is falling in love with a patient who is dying.

On BOSTON LEGAL, one of the lawyers is seduced into bed by her ex-husband...0nly to find out the jerk is still married. At the same time, over on DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES, one of the housewives is seduced into bed by her ex-husband...only to find out the jerk is still married.

Law & Order Deja Vu

Okay, so I was watching the teaser for LAW AND ORDER tonight and it goes like this: two cops are driving along. They get a domestic disturbance call. They park in front of a building and -- WHAM -- a body lands on their windshield. The scene was so familiar that I knew the body was going to land on the car before it happened. I was sure I was watching a rerun...but the TV Guide listed it as a new episode. And, as it turned out, it was new show. So my question is this... am I just imagining that I saw the exact same teaser before or did a LAW & ORDER: SVU also begin the same way this season?
