I find it uncomfortable to realize that bionic technology is replacing human body parts at precisely the same time Angus burgers are appearing on the Mickey D's menu. Soylent green, anyone?

For some reason, I found the randomness of this post hilarious. I don't know why. Still...

I have continued to TiVo Bionic Woman and still find myself turning it off before the second commercial break. I am finding I am much more of a fan of JOURNEYMAN. Have you seen this, Lee? It's a really great show, would love to know your thoughts.

In the meantime, I concur on the AMPTP deal. I only hope picketing continues to be as well attended as it has been.

Keep those picket lines going. It has not yet penetrated the crania of the entertainment moguls (especially those who were in diapers during the last set-to) that without writers they have nothing.

PauI, I don't think it's definite, but rumor has it that Journeyman will end after the 12th episode airs. NBC hasn't been happy with the ratings and there was even talk of not airing the last two episodes. They will be aired, but as far as I can tell, that will be it.

I've given up on Bionic Woman. I just deleted the last 3 episodes I had DVR'ed to make room for "Bad Day at Black Rock" and "The Treasure of the Sierra Madre" which were on TCM today. I just got caught up with Journeyman. They are showing (what are rumored to be) the last two episodes next week on Monday night and Wednesday night.

Sorry. I was a week ahead of myself. The (last?) 3 episodes of Journeyman are scheduled for 12/10, 12/17 & 12/19.

You, consumer reports and syndicated car columnists get their shorts twisted over the plastic in the interiors of American cars. As Clark told Vivien, frankly I don't give a damn.

How does it handle? Does the "check engine" light come on? Does it leak oil? If the answer is "no," then who cares about the interior plastic. At least it won't rust. dz
