Monk in Paris sounds hilarious. Between the sewers and the pee, he won't know where to go. Be sure to introduce him to ortolons.

Poor Monk. I can only imagine what you're going to do to him in the City of Pee! Ick.

Your comment about importing shows from the UK is something I thought would be logical. So why then would BBC America decide to show reruns of Dancing with the Stars? Hell, if they are going to show reruns of a dance show, why not make it the original one that we copied - Strictly Come Dancing? At least that would be new to US audiences.

Of course, I'd rather see non-reality shows imported.

NBC is being cagy about whether JOURNEYMAN is flat out cancelled or not (which annoys me, since I think it the best of the new series this season so far, among those I've seen, even if only slightly ahead of LIFE and such other interesting new stuff as MAD MEN and WIRED SCIENCE), but as you probably have read/heard by now, MONK and PSYCHE have been tapped to go out over broadcast regularly on NBC in March, they announced today. We suspect that JOURNEYMAN's continuing journey depends in large part whether there will be any pilots/news series for NBC to choose from in time. It seems a pity that Moon Bloodgood should have to be the co-star in two fine strangled timeslip series in one year (the other being DAYBREAK). NBC is clearly dancing as fast as it can, between Repurposing cable series and the web series QUARTERLIFE, even ahead of CBS's promise to start running Bowdlerized versions of its Showtime series.

Lee,
Love the catacombs and the sewer tour! They're among my favorite places to take first-time visitors to Paris. And the Museum of Torture. Oh yeah...and a walk through the red light district around Pigalle after an overpriced dinner somewhere in the Marais. Seeing the lovely transvestites in the windows of "Pig Alley" is a good digestif after the shock of getting the dinner check these days.

Wish I could afford to go back...quel dommage!
