We Are Writers, Hear Us Roar

Iamtwlogo02_1 Writer Nathan Long has designed a logo for the International Association of Media Tie-in Writers (I AM a Tie-in Writer).  Cool, huh? The logo will soon be up on the IAMTW site...where you can find lots of interesting articles about the craft and business behind novelizations and original tie-in novels.

Handsome artwork, but you may want to rethink the colors. Raised fists holding objects (wrenches, roses, other) against a red background are generally used by socialist political organizations, i.e.: http://www.newyouth.com/

I didn't know about that specific group or their logo, but we're aware of the socialist/industrial look of ours...that's part of the fun.

As Marx and Engles almost said, Tie-In Writers of the World, Unite! You have nothing to lose but your shame.

Heh. I like the retro-Soviet feel.

Shouldn't you have a tie? Necktie, railroad tie, baggie tie, Kevin Tighe . . . ?

" Look for the union label..."

I like JLW's PHART's logo better. Maybe you can borrow from it.

In the meantime, ALL HAIL THE REVOLUTION!
